The MEMORIZATION SERIES of scripture is an opportunity for parents to work with their children (kindergarten through 6th grade) on basic Bible knowledge by putting scripture "in their hearts". The children have the opportunity to recite their memorizations to Diane Stephens and Jayne French on Sunday mornings from 9:45 - 10:15 am. Before reciting the new card, the child must be able to recite the previous card as well. When they correctly recite a card they are given a candy prize. Some parents have found that putting the cards to song helps their children learn and retain better. After every four cards the children receive a special pin and public recognition before the church.
